Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mason role based in Delhi, India. The Mason will perform brickwork, stonework, and cement-related construction tasks for new structures and renovation projects, ensuring work meets design specifications and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and mixing materials, laying bricks and stones, plastering and finishing surfaces, and repairing existing masonry structures as required. The role involves reading and following technical drawings, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. The Mason is expected to follow all safety protocols, use tools and equipment responsibly, and support timely, specification-compliant project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in masonry and cement work, including preparation, mixing, and application.
- Candidates should possess skills in brickwork for structural and non-structural construction, including laying, aligning, and finishing.
- Candidates should possess skills in stonework for foundations, walls, and decorative elements, with attention to stability and appearance.
- Candidates should possess experience in renovation, repair, and maintenance of existing masonry structures.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow site instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Prior experience as a Mason in infrastructure or building projects; experience with ISO or compliance-oriented environments is an advantage.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor, work in outdoor conditions, and stand for extended periods.
