Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Worker role based in India. The Construction Worker will assist in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as metro systems, tunnels, roads, highways, and urban facilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and maintaining work areas, performing masonry and flooring work, handling construction materials and tools, and supporting structural and finishing activities as directed by supervisors or engineers. The role involves following safety guidelines, reading basic drawings or instructions, coordinating with team members, and ensuring that work is completed to required standards and within project timelines. The Construction Worker will also help with site cleanup, material loading/unloading, and adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Practical construction skills in areas such as Construction, Renovation, and general site work.
- Hands-on experience or training in Masonry, including brickwork, blockwork, and plastering.
- Ability to perform Flooring-related tasks, including surface preparation and installation.
- Basic Research skills to understand work methods, materials, and safety practices as required.
- Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to follow instructions, read simple plans or work orders, and work effectively in a team.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Prior experience in infrastructure or civil construction projects is an advantage.
- Minimum educational background at secondary level; vocational training or certification in construction trades is a plus.
