Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sheet Metal Worker role based in Faridabad. The Sheet Metal Worker will cut, shape, assemble, and finish sheet metal components according to technical drawings, work orders, and quality standards. Responsibilities include operating hand tools and basic machinery, performing bending, drilling, and fastening tasks, and assisting with fabrication and installation of parts and assemblies. The role may involve supporting welding tasks, inspecting finished products for accuracy and defects, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The Sheet Metal Worker will collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and follow safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Sheet Metal work and general Metalworking, including cutting, forming, and assembly of metal components.
- Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools safely and effectively for measuring, cutting, fastening, and finishing tasks.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Welding operations, such as basic welding techniques and working alongside welders to complete assemblies.
- Candidates should possess skills applicable to Aircraft or similar precision fabrication environments, such as attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Basic education in a technical or vocational field (e.g., ITI / trade certification in sheet metal, welding, or fabrication) is beneficial.
