Role Description The Liquid Terminal Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhidham, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the liquid terminal facility. This role manages terminal operations, including receiving, storage, transfer, and dispatch of liquid products, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Liquid Terminal Manager supervises terminal staff, plans and assigns work schedules, monitors performance, and provides coaching and training to maintain high operational standards. The role involves coordinating with customers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely service, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The Liquid Terminal Manager also supports continuous improvement initiatives, monitors equipment and infrastructure, and collaborates on maintenance planning and cost control.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience leading and developing terminal or operations teams.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Operations Management, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on communication, issue resolution, and service quality.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Terminal Operations, particularly handling liquid cargo, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to onboard, coach, and upskill terminal staff.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, familiarity with logistics or supply chain processes, and proficiency in basic computer applications and terminal management systems.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, along with relevant experience in terminal or warehouse operations, is preferred.
