Role Description The Line Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Precision Autowares manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. This role oversees day-to-day production OE line activities, including organizing workflows, assigning tasks, monitoring output, and ensuring adherence to production schedules. The Line Supervisor is responsible for maintaining quality standards, implementing defect-prevention practices, and coordinating with quality teams to resolve issues promptly. Daily tasks include guiding and supporting line operators, facilitating training on processes and safety, maintaining documentation, and communicating status updates to management. The role also involves maintaining a safe work environment, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills for inspecting output, enforcing standards, and implementing defect-prevention measures.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with operators, quality teams, and management.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to onboard and upskill line staff on processes, safety, and quality procedures.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, with knowledge of production workflows and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, work instructions, and basic production documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline is preferred.
