Role Description The Production Manager role at Proactive Healthcare is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, including planning workloads, assigning tasks, and monitoring output to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Production Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Key responsibilities include optimizing processes, managing production schedules, supervising team members, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also involves identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, supporting staff training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and healthcare industry guidelines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in production management or operations within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and workflow management, with the ability to balance quality, cost, and timelines.
- Proficiency in using production tracking tools, spreadsheets, and basic ERP or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance relevant to healthcare and production environments.
- Effective leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance monitoring, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and prepare concise reports.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing operational issues and implementing practical, data-driven solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, industrial management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad on a full-time schedule and adapt to changing production priorities.
- Experience with lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
