Job details:
Get a real seat inside the legal function of a company building jet engines and UAVs from scratch.
Green Aero Propulsion's legal and secretarial functions sit right at the center of everything we're building right now: contracts with vendors and customers, compliance obligations that come with being a defense manufacturer, and all the governance work This isn't an internship where you'll spend three months formatting documents nobody reads. You'll work directly with our Legal Counsel and Company Secretary on things that actually matter to the business, and you'll come out the other side understanding both corporate law and secretarial practice in a way most internships never get close to.
Location: HiTech Defence & Aerospace Park, Bengaluru, on site
Work days: 5 days a week
Duration: 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of a full time offer based on how you perform
What the job actually looks like
On the legal side, you'll help review and draft basic contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements, and you'll research questions on corporate law, export control, and defense procurement rules as they come up in real deals we're working on. You'll help track litigation and claims matters and keep the case files and correspondence organized so nothing gets missed.
On the company secretarial side, you'll get exposure to the things that keep a company like ours compliant as it scales: helping prepare board and shareholder meeting documentation, maintaining statutory registers, and supporting ROC and Companies Act filings. If you've studied company law or are working toward a CS qualification, this is where that knowledge actually gets used, not just tested.
Beyond the structured work, you'll be expected to help wherever legal or compliance support is needed that week, since a small legal team at a fast growing company rarely has the luxury of a fixed scope.
What you bring
- Recently completed an LLB, or pursuing a Company Secretary qualification (CS Executive or Professional level)
- Genuine interest in corporate law, contracts, or company secretarial practice, not just an internship to fill a resume line
- Comfortable doing legal research and pulling out the parts that actually matter
- Strong written English, since a lot of this work is drafting and documentation
- Organized enough to keep track of contracts, filings, and deadlines without things slipping
- Willing to learn fast and pick up new areas, since defense contracting and export control aren't things most law schools teach
If you want real exposure to how legal and governance actually work inside a company that's moving fast, and you're willing to learn things that go beyond a standard law internship, we'd like to hear from you.
