Legal Intern | Emkay Solutions
Duration: 3 Months
- Assisted in handling loan settlement and recovery-related matters, including communication and negotiation with borrowers.
- Drafted and reviewed legal notices, replies, settlement letters, authorization letters, and other legal correspondence.
- Assisted in matters involving arbitration proceedings, arbitration awards, execution proceedings, and recovery actions.
- Conducted legal research on relevant provisions of the SARFAESI Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, RBI guidelines, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinated with clients/borrowers and internal legal teams regarding settlement proposals, outstanding dues, documentation, and dispute resolution.
- Assisted advocates and senior team members in preparing documentation and responses for pre-litigation and recovery matters.
- Maintained and reviewed case-related records, notices, settlement documents, and client correspondence.
- Developed practical exposure to legal drafting, dispute resolution, negotiation, debt recovery, and financial/legal documentation.
