Job details:
Company Description MAYA Design Studio is a young and enthusiastic architectural design firm in India, founded in 2017, with a portfolio spanning a wide range of project types. The studio’s design philosophy emphasizes creating sustainable built environments that respond thoughtfully to their context. The team is committed to architecture that respects heritage while expressing a distinctive, contemporary voice that can itself become heritage for future generations. As an architectural practice, MAYA views buildings as sculptural forms shaped around human habitation, ensuring that each project is functional, purposeful, and sensitive to the needs of its users.
Role Description As a Junior Architect at MAYA Design Studio, you will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept through detailed design and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of drawings and 3D models, developing presentation materials, coordinating with senior architects, and helping refine design solutions that align with the firm’s sustainable and heritage-conscious philosophy. You will participate in site visits, measurements, and basic supervision tasks to ensure design intent is translated accurately into built form. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, requiring close collaboration with the studio’s design team and consultants.
