Location: Gurgaon/ Noida/ Pune.
Role Level: Senior Architect / Principal Architect / Enterprise AI Architect

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions that accelerate data modernisation and transform business decision-making across the insurance value chain. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Architecture, Cloud Platforms, and Insurance Operations to create scalable, intelligent solutions that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business value.
This role will be responsible for defining AI architecture strategies, leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to embed AI into data engineering, analytics, and core insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Driven Data Modernisation & Automation
- Design and implement AI-powered frameworks that automate and optimise critical data lifecycle activities, including:
- Data discovery and analysis
- Source-to-target data mapping
- Data extraction, ingestion and transformation
- Data quality monitoring and remediation
- Metadata management and lineage tracking
- Architect intelligent solutions that accelerate data lakehouse and modern data platform implementations.
- Leverage Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Automation technologies to improve data engineering productivity and reduce delivery timelines.
- Establish AI-enabled governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices across enterprise data ecosystems.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native AI services across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and related platforms.
AI-Powered Analytics & Insurance Intelligence
- Architect predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions that enhance business outcomes across:
- Underwriting
- Policy Administration
- Claims Management
- Exposure Management
- Actuarial Analytics
- Finance and Reporting
- Develop AI-powered decision-support systems that improve risk selection, pricing accuracy, fraud detection, loss prediction, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the development of enterprise-scale Machine Learning and Generative AI platforms for insurance analytics.
- Enable business stakeholders with self-service AI capabilities, advanced insights, scenario modelling, and forecasting solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify high-value AI use cases and define measurable outcomes.
Architecture & Technology Leadership
- Define enterprise AI architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical governance for AI and data initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to establish forward-looking AI strategies.
- Design scalable, secure, and explainable AI solutions that align with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and data scientists, fostering AI best practices and innovation across teams.
Stakeholder Management & Consulting
- Engage with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and client teams to translate strategic objectives into AI-enabled solutions.
- Support business development, solution development, proposals, and client presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor for AI strategy, data transformation, and analytics modernisation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Architecture, or AI solution design.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting AI/ML and Generative AI solutions at enterprise scale.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Expertise in modern data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing GenAI, LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C), Reinsurance, or Specialty Insurance industry.
- Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, AI governance, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Relevant certifications in Cloud, AI, Data Architecture, or Machine Learning.
