Role Description The Interiors Architect will be responsible for developing interior concepts, detailed layouts, and design solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing design presentations, creating drawings and specifications, coordinating interior fit-out details, and ensuring design intent is maintained through execution. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams, visiting sites to review work, and resolving design-related issues during construction. The Interiors Architect will also support material selection, finishes, and furniture layouts, and contribute to sustainable and cost-effective design decisions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Interior Architecture, including concept development and detailed design for varied project types.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Space Planning to create functional, efficient, and aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Interior Fit-out, including coordination of finishes, joinery details, and integration with building services.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop) and familiarity with BIM workflows is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience working on end-to-end interior projects, including site coordination and vendor interaction, preferably in a hybrid or collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles, building codes, local regulations, and current materials and finishes trends is an advantage.
