We're hiring a Design Architect at Alora Designs (Bangalore) -
This is only for the field of Architecture & Interiors. Not an IT role.
Not a drafting role. Not a production role. We're looking for someone who thinks in concept, space, and material — and wants to own that thinking end to end.
At Alora, you won't spend two years redlining someone else's drawings before you get a seat at the design table. You'll be in the room from concept sketch through client presentation through material selection — working directly with me, not through three layers of seniors.
What you'll actually do:
- Lead concept development and spatial planning on real, built projects
- Sit in client conversations and defend design decisions yourself
- Work hands-on with materials, detailing, and finishes — not just render them
- Help shape the design language of a studio that's still small enough for your work to matter
Who we're looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience, strong on design thinking over pure technical execution
- Sharp spatial planning and concept skills
- Comfortable in front of clients — this isn't a behind-the-scenes role
- Confident with SketchUp, Photoshop, AutoCAD as tools for thinking, not just output
- Based in Bangalore, or ready to move here
