Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BIM Architect role based in Bengaluru. The BIM Architect will develop and manage Building Information Models for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and integration with engineering and MEPF disciplines. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating architectural and construction drawings, coordinating submittals, and maintaining project documentation in alignment with office standards. The role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design clashes, support design development, and facilitate efficient workflows. The BIM Architect will also contribute to improving BIM processes, adopting best practices, and supporting sustainable and low-carbon design objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture with experience in design development and coordination.
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, including detail documentation and standards compliance.
- Hands-on expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing Submittals and related project documentation.
- Relevant software skills (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or equivalent BIM tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage time and priorities effectively.
- Experience or interest in sustainable design, low carbon materials, and integrated project delivery is highly beneficial.
