Role Description The Interior Designer – Residential role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru North. The designer will plan and develop residential interior concepts, including layouts, material selections, and finishes that align with client requirements and project budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, preparing design presentations, coordinating construction drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves overseeing FF&E selection and placement, ensuring that furniture, fixtures, and equipment support both aesthetics and functionality. The designer will also monitor project progress on-site, review quality of execution, and make design adjustments as needed to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply Interior Design principles and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically pleasing residential layouts.
- Experience collaborating with Architecture and Construction teams to align design intent with structural and building requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings for residential interiors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Comfort with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru North.
