Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer cum Sales role based in Pune City. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their requirements, and translating their vision into functional design concepts and space plans. Responsibilities include preparing mood boards, layouts, and construction drawings; selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E; and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project execution. The role also includes sales activities such as presenting design proposals, explaining solutions, preparing quotations, and following up with leads to convert inquiries into projects. The Interior Designer cum Sales professional will work closely with the internal design and project management teams to maintain quality, budget, and timelines while delivering a high level of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) selection.
- Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals for functional layouts.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing and reading Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess client-facing sales skills, including presentation, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Working knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
- Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and understanding of materials, finishes, and current design trends are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors are required.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in interior design and sales in Pune or similar markets is an advantage.
