Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HR and Office Assistant role based in Mumbai. The HR and Office Assistant will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment coordination, onboarding documentation, attendance tracking, and basic HR compliance support. The role will also manage office administration tasks such as handling calls and emails, coordinating meetings, managing office supplies, and supporting vendor and facility coordination. The individual will work closely with management and project teams to ensure smooth communication, timely documentation, and efficient office workflows. This position requires a proactive, organized professional who can handle multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong HR support skills, including employee record management, basic recruitment coordination, onboarding assistance, and familiarity with HR policies.
- Candidates should possess office administration skills such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, maintaining files and documentation, and coordinating with vendors and service providers.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and capability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with basic computer applications and office tools (e.g., MS Office suite, email, spreadsheets) and be comfortable learning new systems as needed.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in HR assistance or office administration will be an advantage.
- An understanding of or interest in interior contracting, construction, or design industry operations will be beneficial, along with a strong commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory workplace practices.
