JOB DESCRIPTION
Hostel Warden
Job Profile: A committed warden, adaptive to learning environment and supportive to responsibilities in a day-cum residential University.
Brief of Duties and responsibilities-
• Responsible for allotment of rooms to the students.
• Responsible for maintenance of the hostels.
• Looks after the quality of food served in the hostels.
• Keeps strict discipline among students of the hostels.
• Reports to the University authority in case of any indiscipline or misbehavior by the students.
• Looks into the grievances/complaints of the students if found genuine.
• Arranges for first-aid in case of any emergency and arrange for hospitalization of student/staff, if required
• Providing ideal care by way, counselling and high standards of safety and liability in the hostel.
• To facilitate their holistic development physical, mental, and intellectual.
• Ensure safety and security of all boarders at all times.
• To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels and maintain a ragging free Hostel.
• To ensure housekeeping and cleaning of the premises
• Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students. Accompany students to the hospital in case of serious illness or injury.
• Pursuing the additional responsibilities allotted by Management/Director Administration
Required Qualifications
Graduate with relevant experience in reputed educational institutions.
(Residential University experience will be an added advantage.)
