Role Description The Nanny role at SUB•SET is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The nanny will provide attentive, age-appropriate care for children, including supervising daily routines, organizing playtime, and supporting early learning activities. Daily tasks include preparing nutritious meals and snacks, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting with hygiene and nap schedules. The nanny will coordinate with parents or guardians on children’s needs, follow any established care guidelines, and communicate regularly about development and well-being. The role requires reliability, patience, and a warm, respectful approach to working with children in a creative, community-oriented setting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Babysitting and Childcare skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in Working With Children and Early Childhood Development.
- Candidates should possess Cooking skills, with a focus on child-friendly, nutritious meals.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, patience, and emotional maturity.
- Experience caring for children in a home or educational setting is highly beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a safe, organized environment and respond calmly to emergencies.
- Basic first aid or CPR certification and familiarity with child safety guidelines are an advantage.
- Willingness to collaborate respectfully with parents, guardians, and members of a diverse community.
