Role Description The nanny role at DigiSafe Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The nanny will provide attentive, age-appropriate care for children, including supervising daily routines, organizing educational and play activities, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, cooking simple child-friendly meals, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in children’s areas, and supporting basic early learning experiences. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents or guardians about the child’s wellbeing, following household guidelines, and responding calmly and responsibly to any emergencies or unexpected situations.
Qualifications
- Strong childcare and babysitting skills, with experience working with children in a home or professional setting.
- Understanding of early childhood development and ability to support age-appropriate learning and emotional growth.
- Basic cooking skills, including preparing safe, nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children and follow household routines and rules.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with children and adults.
- Reliability and time management skills, including punctuality and consistent attendance in a full-time, on-site role.
- Prior nanny or childcare experience preferred; formal training or certification in childcare or early childhood education is an advantage.
- Ability to handle basic first aid situations; first aid or CPR certification is beneficial.
