Job Description
IBDIC (Indian Banks' Digital Infrastructure Company) is a consortium of eighteen banks – Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, Indian Bank, PNB, RBL Bank, Kotak Bank, South Indian Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, SBI, Yes Bank, Union Bank of India as investors.
The objective of the organisation is to build Public Digital Infrastructure for Banking using blockchain and other emerging technologies leveraging the network of members to enable high volume and cost- effective financial transactions.
IBDIC is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented
Manager – Ecosystem Partnerships & Growth (EPG) to support business development, strategic partnerships and product adoption across banks, NBFCs, fintechs and other financial institutions. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships with banking stakeholders, driving engagement and coordinating with internal teams to support the commercialization and adoption of IBDIC's solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Banking Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with private sector banks, NBFCs, fintechs and other ecosystem partners to drive business growth.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, develop partnership pipelines and support commercial closures.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with banking stakeholders, business heads and key decision makers to understand requirements and identify potential use cases.
- Product Adoption & Growth: Drive awareness, onboarding and adoption of IBDIC's digital banking solutions across partner institutions.
- Strategic Alliances: Identify opportunities for collaborations and partnerships to expand IBDIC's ecosystem presence.
- Commercial Coordination: Support pricing discussions, business proposals, negotiations and partnership agreements.
- Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities within the banking and fintech ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Technology, Customer Success, Finance and Legal teams to ensure successful partnership execution.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain partnership pipelines, track engagement progress and provide regular updates on business development activities.
Must Have
- 5–10 years of experience in Banking, BFSI, Fintech, Payments, Digital Banking or related sectors.
- Strong experience in business development, strategic partnerships, relationship management or ecosystem growth.
- Good understanding of private sector banking operations, financial products and digital banking solutions.
- Existing relationships with banking stakeholders and decision makers, preferably within private sector banks.
- Experience in identifying business opportunities, managing partnership pipelines and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- MBA / Management qualification preferred.
Preferred
- Experience working with banks, transaction banking, trade finance or digital banking solutions.
- Exposure to Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), payments, fintech platforms or financial infrastructure.
- Experience in onboarding banking partners and driving digital product adoption.
- Understanding of banking technology platforms, API-based solutions and financial ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Trade Finance products, processes and banking operations, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and Import/Export transactions.
- Exposure to banking industry associations and ecosystem initiatives.
