Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee – Electrical will support engineering and operations activities within Lumino’s manufacturing and EPC environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in electrical design and testing of cables and conductors, supporting production teams in resolving technical issues, and participating in commissioning, installation, and maintenance activities as needed. The trainee will help collect and analyze operational data, prepare technical reports and documentation, and contribute to process improvement initiatives in coordination with senior engineers. The role also involves learning and adhering to safety standards, quality procedures, and compliance requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration, reporting, and coordination across teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, troubleshoot issues, and support process optimization.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Fundamental understanding of electrical power systems, cables, conductors, and industrial safety standards.
- Proficiency in basic engineering software and MS Office tools; exposure to CAD or electrical design tools is an advantage.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow structured procedures, and work effectively on-site in a manufacturing and project environment.
- Internship or project experience in power, energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors is beneficial.
