Experience: 15+ years in the hospitality industry, with significant experience in senior hotel leadership roles
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the overall operations of the hotel and drive its positioning, guest experience, financial performance and long term growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing upscale or luxury hotels, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high standards across Rooms, F&B, Sales, Revenue, Finance, HR and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the hotel
• Oversee all hotel operations and ensure consistent service and operational standards
• Lead and mentor the senior management team and build a high performance culture
• Drive guest satisfaction and ensure a consistently high quality guest experience
• Develop and implement annual operating plans, budgets and business strategies
• Take ownership of the hotel’s financial performance, profitability and cost management
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to drive occupancy, ADR, revenue and overall business growth
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and opportunities for business development
• Ensure strong coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, Finance, HR, Engineering and other departments
• Establish and maintain operational SOPs and service standards
• Build strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, travel partners and other key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, hygiene and brand standards
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance management and development of the hotel team
• Drive initiatives that strengthen the hotel’s brand positioning and market presence
• Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to improve profitability
• Represent the hotel at industry events, business meetings and relevant external forums
Candidate Profile
• 15+ years of experience in the hospitality industry
• Strong experience in a General Manager, Hotel Manager, EAM or senior hotel leadership role
• Prior experience with 5 star, luxury, upscale or resort properties preferred
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management and commercial performance
• Proven experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision making skills
• Strong guest service orientation with a keen eye for operational detail
• Ability to build relationships with owners, stakeholders, guests and business partners
• Experience in a hotel pre opening or opening environment will be an advantage
