We’re Hiring | General Manager – Roads Procurement
📍 Location: Hyderabad / Project Locations
💼 Experience: 15–20+ Years
🏗️ Industry: Roads | Highways | Expressways | Infrastructure EPC
We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Roads Procurement to lead strategic and project procurement activities for large-scale Roads & Highway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end procurement for Roads, Highways & Expressway projects
• Manage procurement of Bitumen, Aggregates, Cement, Steel, RMC, Geosynthetics, Road Safety Materials, etc.
• Develop and manage strategic vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
• Lead commercial negotiations, rate finalization and contract management
• Drive cost optimization, value engineering and procurement efficiency
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements
• Coordinate with Projects, Planning, Commercial, Finance and Stores teams
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supplier performance
• Lead and mentor the procurement team
• Prepare procurement MIS, dashboards and management reports
Candidate Profile:
✅ 15–20+ years of relevant experience in Roads / Highways / Infrastructure EPC Procurement
✅ Strong experience in strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations
✅ Good knowledge of road construction materials and market dynamics
✅ Experience handling large-value procurement and multiple projects
✅ Strong vendor development and contract management skills
✅ SAP MM / ERP knowledge preferred
✅ Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management skills
