About the Role
Edvelup is looking for an experienced Tamil-speaking Stock Market Mentor to guide and support learners through live sessions, market updates, and student interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online mentoring sessions in Tamil, primarily from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Share relevant market updates and educational insights with the student community.
- Handle student doubts and one-on-one support as required.
- Explain concepts including technical analysis, fundamental analysis, risk management, derivatives, and trading psychology.
- Provide practical market examples and help students understand market concepts.
- Stay updated with relevant market developments and regulations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in stock market trading, investing, or mentoring.
- 1+ year of mentoring/teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent spoken Tamil.
- Strong understanding of the Indian Stock Market, including equity and derivatives.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with platforms such as TradingView, Zerodha, Upstox, Fyers, etc.
- NISM certification required.
Engagement Details
- Fully remote freelance opportunity.
- Primary mentoring session: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
- Additional 1–2 hours approximately for market updates, doubt clarification, and student support, based on requirements.
- Total engagement is expected to be approximately 2–3 hours per day.
- Compensation: ₹500–₹600 per hour.
