Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Business Development Executive or Manager role based in India. The role involves identifying and approaching prospective hotel partners, presenting Joy Stays’ business model, and building long-term relationships to expand the company’s portfolio. Responsibilities include conducting market visits, negotiating terms and contracts, onboarding new properties, and ensuring partners understand operational processes and service expectations. The role requires monitoring partner performance, gathering feedback from hotels, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and optimize outcomes. The Field Business Development Executive or Manager also contributes to regional growth plans, prepares regular reports on sales activities, and represents Joy Stays at industry events and local networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, relationship building, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industry, especially hotel operations, revenue management, or distribution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- High level of self-motivation, time management, and organization to manage field activities and meet targets.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic data analysis, and MS Office or equivalent productivity software.
- Ability to work in an on-site, field-focused environment, including frequent local travel and in-person meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Prior experience in business development, key account management, or field sales is highly beneficial.
