About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Finance, Commercial to support the company’s finance, commercial, and statutory functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, commercial documentation, payroll, taxation, banking, and regulatory compliance while working closely with management, clients, vendors, financial institutions, and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
* Maintain accurate books of accounts and day to day accounting transactions.
* Prepare journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and audit schedules.
* Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor reconciliations, and customer reconciliations.
* Prepare MIS reports and management financial summaries.
Payroll & Employee Finance
* Process end to end monthly payroll.
* Prepare salary sheets, payslips, reimbursements, and payroll reports.
* Maintain payroll records and statutory deductions.
* Support payroll taxation and compliance requirements.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
* Manage GST compliance, reconciliations, and return filings.
* Handle TDS calculations, payments, return filings, and reconciliations.
* Assist with Income Tax compliance and assessments.
* Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for statutory audits, tax audits, and annual financial statements.
* Maintain statutory records and ensure timely regulatory compliance.
Commercial Operations
* Draft, review, and maintain commercial agreements, contracts, purchase orders, amendments, NDAs, and other business documentation.
* Review commercial terms and conditions to ensure contractual compliance.
* Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and supporting commercial documentation.
* Support PSU tender documentation, commercial bid submissions, contract administration, and post-award documentation.
* Coordinate documentation related to Bank Guarantees (BGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), performance securities, and banking facilities.
* Maintain contract records and commercial documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support procurement, logistics, and business development teams on commercial and financial matters.
Banking
* Coordinate with banks for day to day banking operations.
* Manage banking documentation, loan documentation, BGs, LCs, and related financial instruments.
* Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and payment schedules.
* Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
* Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
* M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter – Preferred
Experience
* 4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Commercial Operations, Payroll, Taxation, and Compliance.
* Experience in commodity trading, mining, steel, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, EPC, or consulting industries will be an added advantage.
