Job Title : Estimation Engineer
Experience : 2–4 Years (Experience in Doors & Windows- Aluminum, uPVC)
Job Location : Kukatpally (Hyderabad)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs for doors and windows projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand architectural, structural, and tender drawings of project requirements.
2. Created detailed quantity take-offs (BOQ) for aluminum, uPVC, steel, and wooden doors & windows.
3. Calculate the cost of material, hardware, glass, accessories, labour, and installation costs.
4. Draft cost estimates, quotations, and commercial proposals within the stipulated timelines.
5. Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Procurement, and Production teams for technical clarifications.
6. Request quotations from vendors and suppliers for customised materials and components.
7. Create value engineering solutions to maximise project costs without compromising quality.
8. Keep a track of estimation databases, costing sheets, and standard rate analysis.
9. Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable building codes.
10. Assist the sales and technical teams in submitting the tenders and interacting with customers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
2. 2–4 years of experience in estimation for doors, windows, aluminum systems.
3. Strong understanding of aluminum, uPVC, door and window systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
5. Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
6. Good understanding of hardware, glazing, profiles, and fabrication processes.
7. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
