Role Description The Civil BIM Modeller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Civil BIM Modeller will create, manage, and update Building Information Models (BIM) for civil and related infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency across design stages. Daily responsibilities include interpreting architectural and construction drawings, coordinating models with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines, and preparing detailed 3D and 2D representations for project teams. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts, maintain model standards, and support documentation for planning, execution, and review. The Civil BIM Modeller will also assist in quality checks, model optimization, and adherence to relevant codes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), with experience in civil or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Architecture and familiarity with construction design principles.
- Candidates should possess proven experience as a Modeler, creating and managing detailed 3D and 2D models for project documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to ensure integrated and clash-free models.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read, interpret, and produce Construction Drawings with a high level of accuracy.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools).
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to document and present model outputs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with prior BIM project experience, would be beneficial.
