Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai within the engineering division. The position involves supporting engineering projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and mechanical disciplines, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the design and optimization of mechanical and manufacturing processes, monitoring project progress, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to problem-solving for production or design issues. The role also requires regular communication with stakeholders, participation in project review meetings, and collaboration to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, troubleshoot engineering issues, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to plan tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of engineering activities.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing Engineering knowledge to support process optimization, production workflows, and quality control.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise in design principles, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) are preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, engineering software, and basic quality management practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Chennai, demonstrate adaptability, and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
