KEY RESPONSIBILITIES → Own the full P&L for Chennai — revenue targets, cost management, and operating margin improvement. → Drive aggressive driver onboarding and build a robust pipeline of enrolled driver partners. → Ensure optimal fleet utilisation across all active vehicles through dynamic allocation and demand planning. → Oversee all operational departments in Chennai — driver ops, customer experience, fleet, and finance. → Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the city — corporate tie-ups, new segments, geo expansion. → Build and lead a high-performing city team with clear accountability and performance culture. → Report business health, risks, and growth plans to National leadership on a regular cadence. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must Have • 6–10 years of experience with at least 2–3 years in a P&L ownership or city/regional leadership role. • Deep understanding of mobility, logistics, or on-demand services. • Strong people leadership skills — able to hire, motivate, and retain a diverse operations team. • Commercially sharp with experience in building business cases and managing budgets. Good to Have ◦ Prior experience working in Chennai or with a South India-focused operations mandate. ◦ Exposure to multi-modal transport, fleet management, or hyperlocal logistics.
