Role Description The Ecommerce Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing product listings, pricing, promotions, and content across various e-commerce platforms to support UPOD’s global sourcing operations. The Ecommerce Specialist will monitor inventory and order flows, coordinate with internal teams and vendor partners, and ensure a smooth, buyer-friendly online experience. Daily activities include analyzing sales data and website performance, improving conversion rates, assisting with digital merchandising, and resolving customer queries related to online orders. The role also involves collaborating on marketing initiatives, maintaining platform compliance, and contributing to continuous process improvements in e-commerce operations.
Qualifications
- Strong E-Commerce platform management skills, including product listing, catalog maintenance, and basic understanding of online merchandising.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales reports, traffic data, conversion metrics, and inventory trends for data-driven decision-making.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to manage buyer inquiries, handle issues professionally, and support a positive customer experience.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, and for clear written documentation.
- Sales awareness and understanding of online sales funnels, pricing strategies, and promotion planning to support revenue growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office tools; familiarity with e-commerce dashboards and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Experience in home décor, furnishings, or sourcing environments, and knowledge of international trade or logistics, is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple tasks, meet timelines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
