Role Description The Ecommerce Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Wadala, responsible for managing and optimizing Tisser’s online sales channels. This role includes overseeing product listings, pricing, inventory updates, and ensuring accurate and appealing content across marketplaces and the company website. The specialist will monitor sales performance and customer behavior, analyze data to improve conversion, and implement promotional strategies aligned with business goals. Daily tasks involve coordinating with internal teams and artisans for product information, handling customer inquiries related to online orders, resolving order and delivery issues, and maintaining a consistent brand presence. The role also includes collaborating with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns, improve customer experience, and support overall revenue growth from ecommerce platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong E-Commerce and Sales skills to manage online marketplaces, drive conversions, and support revenue targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with buyers and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, track performance metrics, and recommend actions for improving traffic, engagement, and sales.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., major marketplaces, CMS tools) and basic knowledge of digital marketing or merchandising is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to work on-site in Wadala, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple listings and tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in ecommerce operations, retail, or online marketplace management, and a demonstrated interest in handicrafts or social enterprises is an advantage.
