Role Description The Deputy General Manager Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for overseeing daily operations across Union Living properties.
This role manages end-to-end service delivery, ensuring housekeeping, maintenance, meals, and support services run efficiently and consistently meet resident expectations.
The position involves supervising and coaching on-site teams, monitoring performance, resolving operational issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance resident experience and operational quality.
The Deputy General Manager Operations will collaborate with leadership on budgeting, vendor management, and resource planning, while maintaining compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
The role also requires regular interaction with residents to gather feedback, address concerns promptly, and support initiatives that increase satisfaction and occupancy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong General Management and Operations Management skills to oversee multi-site daily activities and drive process efficiency.
- Candidates should possess solid Team Management and Customer Service skills to lead on-site staff and deliver a high-quality resident experience.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to plan, monitor, and control operational costs while optimizing resource utilization.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, residential living, co-living, or facility management operations is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, data-driven decision-making, and proficiency with basic office and operations software are preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills are advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in management, hospitality, operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
