Role Description The Deputy Director – Admissions and Outreach is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position oversees end-to-end admissions operations, including planning and executing enrollment strategies, supervising candidate counseling, and ensuring a smooth application and onboarding process. The role involves developing and managing outreach initiatives, organizing events and school/college visits, coordinating with internal academic departments, and maintaining relationships with educational partners and stakeholders. The Deputy Director monitors admissions data and trends, prepares reports, and optimizes processes to meet enrollment targets while ensuring a positive experience for prospective learners and families. The role also includes leading and mentoring the admissions team, establishing service standards, and aligning admissions and outreach activities with the University’s vision and policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in enrollment management and admissions operations, including planning, forecasting, and tracking enrollment targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging prospective learners, families, schools, and community partners.
- Experience in student recruiting, outreach programs, and organizing events or campaigns to build applicant pipelines.
- Proficiency in customer service, with a focus on delivering responsive, accurate, and supportive guidance throughout the admissions journey.
- Working knowledge of student financial aid processes and ability to coordinate with finance or scholarship teams to advise applicants.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise admissions staff.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience using CRM or admissions management systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Business, Management, or a related field; prior experience in university admissions or higher education administration is highly desirable.
