Role Description The Counselor role at EkasCloud London is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Counselor will guide prospective learners through EkasCloud’s cloud and AI training programs, conducting consultations to understand their career goals, skills, and learning needs. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, explaining program structures and outcomes, supporting applicants through the enrollment process, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. The role also involves coordinating with trainers and operations teams to ensure a smooth learner experience, providing ongoing support and motivation to enrolled participants, and sharing feedback to improve program offerings. The Counselor is expected to use structured communication, ethical counseling practices, and data-driven insights to help learners make informed decisions about their cloud and AI careers.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to conduct counseling sessions, explain program details clearly, and build trust with diverse learners.
- Ability to understand career goals and technical interests, with basic awareness of cloud, DevOps, and AI domains to guide learners effectively.
- Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple inquiries, follow-ups, and documentation in a structured manner.
- Customer service and relationship management abilities to support learner onboarding, retention, and satisfaction throughout the training journey.
- Comfort using digital tools and CRM or enrollment systems, with proficiency in email, messaging platforms, and online meeting tools.
- Ethical counseling mindset, including respect for confidentiality, non-discriminatory practices, and a learner-centric approach to guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in counseling, education, business, psychology, or related fields.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, career guidance, training institutes, or EdTech environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
