Role Description The Educational Counselor role is a part-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The counselor will guide prospective and current learners on suitable courses and career pathways in clinical research and related domains, conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding learner backgrounds, explaining program offerings, supporting admissions processes, and maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions. The role involves collaborating with training and placement teams, delivering clear information about industry trends and job prospects, and responding to inquiries via in-person meetings, phone, and email. The Educational Counselor will also participate in events, seminars, and outreach activities to promote CLINI INDIA®’s programs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related skills to advise learners on suitable programs and training pathways.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support academic choices and career planning in clinical research and allied fields.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge or experience in pharma, life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare education.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse learner groups.
- Candidates should have good organizational and documentation skills, with familiarity in using basic office and CRM tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare, education, psychology, or a related field is preferred; counseling certification is an advantage.
