RichHarbor is building a technology-led financial services platform focused on bringing multiple financial solutions, distribution and execution capabilities onto a single ecosystem.
Our technology platform, RFIN, is being built as a comprehensive financial platform spanning:

We are now looking for a Co-Founder & CTO to build the technology platform and technology organisation from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a founding-stage opportunity, not a conventional salaried CTO position.
The Co-Founder & CTO will take end-to-end ownership of the technology function and will work directly with the founder to convert the RFIN vision into a scalable, secure and commercially viable technology platform.
You will be responsible for building RFIN from 0 → 1 → scale, including the product architecture, engineering team, technology roadmap and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Architecture
- Define and own the overall technology strategy for RFIN and RichHarbor
- Design the complete product and system architecture from scratch
- Select appropriate technology stack, frameworks and infrastructure
- Build scalable, secure and high-performance applications
- Establish engineering, security, DevOps and development standards
Product Development
- Lead development of the RFIN mobile app and web platform
- Build backend systems, APIs, databases and integrations
- Build financial planning / FPA and rules-engine capabilities
- Develop future AI-driven financial intelligence capabilities
- Build transaction, CRM, lead, partner and customer-management infrastructure
- Integrate financial product providers, lenders, insurers and other ecosystem partners
Technology Leadership
- Recruit, build and lead the engineering team
- Create development processes, code standards and release discipline
- Manage technology vendors and external development partners where required
- Own technology delivery, quality, uptime, security and scalability
- Build the technology organisation required for future growth
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a builder and entrepreneur, not only a technology manager.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 8–15+ years of relevant technology/product experience
- Experience as a CTO, Founding Engineer, Tech Lead or senior technology leader
- Proven experience taking a product/platform from 0 to 1
- Strong hands-on understanding of software architecture and engineering
- Experience across backend, APIs, databases, cloud and application security
- Experience building and managing engineering teams
- Strong product-thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technology
- Experience in FinTech / BFSI / SaaS / marketplace / transaction platforms is highly preferred
- Experience with AI/ML or AI-enabled products is an advantage
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership beyond a defined job description
What We Are Offering
Founding Equity: Up to 5%
Equity will be structured through a formal vesting arrangement and will be linked to long-term contribution to the business.
Cash Compensation: No fixed salary during the initial build phase, with compensation to be reviewed against agreed company revenue/funding milestones.
This role is therefore suitable for a candidate who is comfortable taking founder-level risk in exchange for meaningful long-term equity ownership.
