RiteAssetz is building a technology-led digital lending and real-estate finance platform connecting borrowers, lenders, channel partners, and internal operations. Our products include Customer OS, Sentinel, Home Loan Passport, Lender Exchange, RA Operations OS, and Partner OS.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands-on technology co-founder to own technology direction and execution with the business founders. This is a builder role—not only supervising external developers. In the early phase you will write code, diagnose production issues, deliver critical features, shape architecture, and gradually build a strong engineering organization.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
• Set the technology roadmap, architecture decisions, trade-offs, and delivery milestones.
• Strengthen the platform for secure, stable scale across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, infrastructure, releases, and production support.
• Build customer, lender, partner, and internal workflows that improve borrower conversion, lender engagement, operational efficiency, loan execution speed, and visibility.
• Lead engineering standards, testing, documentation, observability, performance, incident response, and cost-aware infrastructure.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a lean engineering team while retaining ownership of architecture and security.
TECHNICAL SCOPE
• Frontend: React/TypeScript or comparable modern web stack, responsive journeys, dashboards, API integration, accessibility, and performance.
• Backend: Node.js or comparable services, API design, authentication, RBAC, validation, workflow automation, notifications, and production debugging. Python is useful.
• Data: SQL/PostgreSQL or comparable relational systems, data modelling, migrations, query optimization, backups/recovery, auditability, and secure access.
• Platform: cloud/server administration, Git workflows, CI/CD, monitoring/logging, secrets, releases, uptime, backups, disaster recovery, and cloud spend.
• Product automation: intelligent workflows, document processing, analytics, and AI-assisted features with privacy and accuracy in mind.
LENDING MARKETPLACE JOURNEY
Registration → financial assessment → borrowing readiness → lender matching → offer comparison → customer selection → loan processing → disbursal tracking. You will help make borrower profiles, eligibility rules, lender interfaces, secure document collection, approvals, and partner coordination reliable and measurable.
SECURITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
You will design for authentication, role-based access, separation of customer/lender/partner/internal data, secure storage and sharing, encryption where appropriate, audit trails, consent-aware workflows, vulnerability management, incident response, backups, and business continuity.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 8–15+ years of relevant software/product engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on ownership of user-facing products or platforms end-to-end.
• Strong frontend, backend/API, database, and production infrastructure experience.
• Experience making pragmatic architecture and delivery trade-offs in an uncertain environment.
• Evidence of hiring, mentoring, or leading engineers.
• Fintech, lending, SaaS, or transactional marketplace experience is valuable but not required.
• Founder mindset: accountable, hands-on, practical, comfortable deciding with incomplete information, and committed to building RiteAssetz for the long term.
FIRST 90 DAYS
Audit the product, codebase, data model, deployments, and workflows; agree a scale roadmap; address stability and security gaps; improve delivery discipline; ship priority marketplace capabilities; and define the first engineering hires and ownership model.
WORK MODEL AND COMPENSATION
Full-time, work from home. This is an equity-first co-founder opportunity. Salary is intended to grow with funding and revenue and will be tied to mutually agreed milestones, financial capacity, and formal documentation. Equity, vesting, IP ownership, and decision-making will be formalized.
