Description
The Business Head (Non Ferrous) is a leadership role within our manufacturing organization, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our non-ferrous materials division. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in the manufacturing sector, particularly in non-ferrous metals, to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver value to our customers. The position is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, and requires a strong understanding of the industry dynamics, market trends, and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the non-ferrous division operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Oversee product development and innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer demands and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Manage budgets and optimize operational costs to enhance profitability.
- Develop and mentor the team to enhance performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on non-ferrous materials.
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong strategic and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
- A degree in business, engineering, or relevant fields is preferred, but not mandatory.
