Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Banking Relationship Manager based in Patiala. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of business banking clients, understanding their financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking products and services. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing cash management solutions, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring the timely resolution of client queries. The role also requires evaluating creditworthiness, supporting underwriting decisions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The Business Banking Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth, cross-sell products, and support the overall business strategy in the region.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and grow professional relationships with business clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cash Management and Finance to advise clients on transaction banking, liquidity solutions, and overall financial planning.
- Candidates should possess Portfolio Management skills to monitor client accounts, manage risk, and ensure portfolio profitability and health.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Underwriting and credit assessment to evaluate financial statements, analyze risk, and support sound lending decisions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or professional certifications in banking or finance are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet business targets.
- Prior experience in business banking, corporate banking, or SME lending within a financial institution is highly beneficial.
