What You’ll Do?
As Associate Director - Micro Drama, you will own and scale microdrama ad sales business for our portfolio verticals, end-to-end. Working alongside our sales and content team, you’ll bring brands into the microdrama format through content- and concept-led selling, and partner with ideation, content and production teams to deliver what we pitch.
Note: This is a core sales role with quarterly targets
Sales Support and Pitches
- Join sales teams in client meetings to explain the microdrama format, storytelling approach, audience behaviour, and performance outcomes.
- Tailor narratives and examples to the brand’s category, objective, and creative openness.
- Help craft pitch stories, case studies, and microdrama-led campaign ideas that strengthen the sales narrative.
Content and Concept Selling
- Lead client and agency conversations on the microdrama format, storytelling approach, audience behaviour and performance outcomes.
- Turn brand briefs into microdrama-led concepts (branded series, in-content integrations, custom IPs) tailored to the brand’s category, objective and creative openness.
- Craft pitch stories, case studies and proposals with the ideation and brand solutions teams that sharpen the sales narrative.
Production House and Ecosystem Partnerships
- Build and leverage strong relationships with production houses, particularly their sales and brand-partnership teams, to co-create and deliver brand solutions.
- Track category trends, competitor platforms and brand storytelling patterns in the microdrama and short-form space, and spot where microdrama can solve brand problems better than traditional formats.
Execution and Internal Coordination
- Work closely with operations, finance, legal and content teams so every pitched solution is delivered as promised, using established SOWs and process flows.
- Contribute to playbooks, reference decks and talking points that help the wider sales team pitch microdrama with confidence.
Who are you?
- 8–12 years of ad sales experience across digital, OTT, broadcast or branded content; experience selling microdrama or vertical short-series formats is a plus.
- You sell content and concepts, not just inventory. You've taken brands from brief to idea to signed deal on branded content, integrations or custom IPs.
- You're a strong storyteller with a commercial mindset, comfortable in client conversations and able to explain microdrama's value through audience behaviour, creative strategy and measurable outcomes.
- You bring fresh ideas and creative approaches, and thrive in a fast-scaling, early-stage category where speed and quick turnarounds matter.
Where Will You Be?
Bangalore, Mumbai or Gurugram (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
