About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to manage end-to-end HR operations, statutory compliance, social compliance audits, and office administration. The ideal candidate should be experienced in employee lifecycle management, SEDEX/SMETA audits, labor law compliance, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and employee development.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and practices aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and closure of SEDEX/SMETA and other social compliance audits.
- Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Factory Act, Labor Laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee files, statutory registers, registry books, compliance records, and HR documentation.
- Maintain compliance dashboards and ensure records are readily available for audits and inspections.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, government authorities, vendors, and service providers as required.
- Manage office administration, facilities, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operational support.
- Support management with workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, and process improvement initiatives.
- Foster a professional, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
Qualifications & Experience- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, administration, statutory compliance, or social compliance.
- Experience with SEDEX/SMETA or other social compliance audits is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, HR practices, and employee lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage people, processes, compliance, and administrative responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.
