Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AI Annotator role based in Salem. The AI Annotator will review, label, and categorize data such as text, images, audio, or video according to detailed guidelines to support AI model training and improvement. Daily tasks include understanding annotation instructions, maintaining high accuracy and consistency, flagging ambiguous or problematic data, and collaborating with team leads to clarify requirements. The role involves working with internal tools and platforms, meeting productivity and quality targets, and following data security and confidentiality standards. The AI Annotator will also contribute feedback to enhance annotation processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency when working with large volumes of data.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including the ability to work with web-based tools, spreadsheets, and data entry interfaces.
- Candidates should possess good reading comprehension and written communication skills in English to follow guidelines and document findings.
- Candidates should possess the ability to learn and apply complex instructions, classification rules, and annotation standards.
- Candidates should possess strong time management skills and the ability to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Ayothiapattinam, with openness to feedback and process improvements.
- Prior experience in data entry, quality control, AI data annotation, or similar roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in any discipline is a plus.
