Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Rebar Detailer role based in Salem. The responsibilities include preparing detailed rebar placement drawings using CAD software, creating accurate material take-offs, estimating costs for rebar projects, and coordinating with clients and project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery. The role also involves reviewing structural and architectural plans to align rebar detailing with project specifications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3D rebar detailing tools
- Strong ability in reading and interpreting the structural drawings
- Prepare accurate Rebar shop drawings and BBS from structural plans
- Interpret construction blueprints and ensure precise detailing
- Conduct quality control to ensure compliance with specs & codes
- Mentor junior detailers and ensure timely project delivery
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with clients and project teams
- Prior experience in the rebar industry is a plus
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes practices
