Role Description The Accounts Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Rudrapur. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, ledger posting, reconciliation of accounts, and assistance in the preparation of financial statements. The Accounts Associate will support taxation and compliance work, such as compiling documentation, preparing working papers, and coordinating with senior team members for audits and filings. Responsibilities include maintaining client records, responding to basic client queries, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in line with firm procedures. The role also requires collaboration with other team members, adherence to regulatory standards, and the use of accounting software and spreadsheets to support accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform reconciliations, and support audit and compliance work.
- Customer Service and Account Management capabilities to maintain client relationships and handle routine queries professionally.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and use of accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools).
- Good knowledge of basic taxation and statutory compliance; familiarity with GST and Income Tax processes is an advantage.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or intending to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CMA) is a plus.
