Role Description The Junior Accountant role at DM-Immigration Consultants is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, monitoring expense records, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, assisting with budgeting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant regulations. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior finance team members and other departments to ensure accurate, timely financial data that supports business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills for reviewing financial data and identifying discrepancies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with finance colleagues and other teams.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or 0–2 years of experience in accounting are an advantage.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Interest in or exposure to professional services or consulting environments is a plus.
