About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain embedded software using C, C++, and Python on VxWorks and Linux platforms
- Implement real-time software solutions compliant with MISRA C coding standards
- Perform socket programming and develop networking protocol stacks for mission-critical applications
- Carry out FPGA programming and development adhering to DO-254 hardware design assurance standards
- Design, implement, and manage NAS/Storage systems for mission data handling
- Write and manage SQL-based data solutions and storage management frameworks
- Collaborate with systems and hardware teams for software-hardware integration and verification
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python, and SQL
- Hands-on experience in VxWorks and/or Linux-based embedded software development
- Real-time software development experience with MISRA C compliance
- Experience in FPGA programming and familiarity with DO-254 standards
- Knowledge of networking protocols and socket programming
- Experience in NAS/Storage management and data architecture
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in defence, aerospace, or mission-critical embedded systems
- Exposure to DO-178C software development assurance standards
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and software V&V processes
