In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Recruiting and Human Capital Management (HCM) module solutions. You will work closely with HR, Talent Management, & Recruiting stakeholders to understand HR processes and ensure the effective use of Workday to meet the organization’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in the Workday HCM Implementation, Configuration and continued support:
- Participate in the configuration and continued maintenance of the Workday Recruiting & HCM modules (Core HR) according to business requirements.
- Support ongoing system enhancements, patches, and updates in Workday Recruiting & HCM.
- Manage and maintain Workday modules (Recruiting, HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management and Performance).
- Serve as SME for Workday Recruiting, supporting HR, Talent Management teams, and business leaders with functional expertise and system best practice.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Workday system, ensuring minimal disruption to HR processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and optimize the use of Workday Recruiting.
- Provide recommendations for best practices and solutions based on business needs.
- Configure and optimize Workday Recruiting & HCM modules including Hiring Business Processes, Candidate Reviews, and Security Modeling to align with business requirements.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Lead system testing for new configurations, features, and updates to ensure the system is functioning as expected.
- Perform end-user testing and validate system processes after updates or changes.
- User Training & Documentation:
- Develop training materials and provide training sessions to HR staff and other end users.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of Workday configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration with IT & External Vendors:
- Work with IT and other stakeholders to ensure proper system integration with other HR and business systems.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams across Recruiting, global compensation, Core HCM, and Security to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
- Liaise with Workday support teams or external vendors to resolve technical issues or implement new features.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday to provide HR and business leaders with relevant insights.
- Ensure data integrity within the Workday Recruiting & HCM systems and perform regular audits.
- Ensure that all quality requirements described in the QMS manuals are followed and any changes, as necessary, are reported through the change management procedure for continual improvement.
Basic Requirements
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business, IT, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Workday HCM modules, particularly in Recruiting, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, security, and reporting.
- Experience with Workday upgrades and patch management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting & HCM configuration tools and security settings.
- Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams.
- Workday HCM certification (e.g., Core HCM) is preferred.
- Experience with Workday integrations or third-party HR systems.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations.
