Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in configuring and supporting Workday US Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of US payroll processing, federal and state payroll regulations, and Workday Payroll functional configuration.
The consultant must have direct experience configuring Workday Payroll within the Workday platform, rather than working exclusively with third-party payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday US Payroll functionality.
- Manage payroll processing activities and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Apply knowledge of US federal and state payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate payroll calculations.
- Support payroll testing, validation, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to meet project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of total professional experience.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll functional experience.
- Mandatory experience configuring Workday US Payroll.
- Strong understanding of US payroll processing, including federal and state laws.
- Experience in payroll configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Important Requirements
- Direct Workday US Payroll configuration experience is mandatory.
Candidates with experience limited to third-party payroll platforms will not be considered.
