Role Description The Assistant Pastry Chef will support daily production of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely completion of orders. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, mixing batters and doughs, baking and finishing products, decorating cakes and desserts, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. The role involves assisting with menu development, experimenting with new recipes, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The Assistant Pastry Chef will collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef and team to manage inventory, reduce waste, and fulfill custom orders. This is a full-time, on-site role based in West Delhi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Bakery operations and Food Preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Baking and Cooking.
- Candidates should possess strong general Culinary Skills.
- Previous experience in a professional bakery, patisserie, or culinary environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper storage of ingredients is preferred.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen are important.
- Formal culinary or baking training, certification, or apprenticeships are an advantage.
